Guy Halford-Thompson - Chief Executive Officer
Guy is a highly analytical and programmatic thinker who recognized early on that the distributed-ledger-technology that underpins bitcoin, known as "the Blockchain," was a groundbreaking innovation with the potential to transform society. A thought leader in the blockchain space, Guy is the Founder and CEO of BTL Group, the first public blockchain technology company (TSXV:BTL). He is also the co-founder of QuickBitcoin—a bitcoin trading company that introduced one of the first bitcoin ATMs to the United Kingdom in 2013.
Hugh Halford-Thompson - Chief Technology Officer
Hugh co-founded Quickbitcoin in 2013, which allowed UK customers to buy bitcoin quickly and easily by establishing trust in a challenging industry. He then partnered with Canadian firm Cointrader.net to bring a bitcoin brokerage, bitcoin ATM, and bitcoin exchange to the UK market. Hugh regularly participates in talks with the HMRC and UKDCA around bitcoin regulation. He works out of BTL Group LTD's London office where he is responsible for all technical aspects of the company as well as all aspects of Interbit.
Siân Jones - Chief Compliance Officer
Siân is a veteran C-level problem solver and fervent digital currency and blockchain advocate, who loves providing real world solutions to virtual currency problems. She is a founding member of the UK Digital Currency Association and co-lead of its Exchanges Regulation & Accounting Working Group, convenor of the first European digital currency associations roundtable, and co-founder of EDCAB -- the European Digital Currency and Blockchain Technology public policy platform based in Brussels.
Jackson Warren - Operations
Jackson is an organized and passionate product developer whose primary interest is in driving innovation to make the world a better place today. He has founded and sold two successful companies that made millions of people around the world aware of blockchain technology and digital currencies. Most recently he founded and served as CEO of XAPCASH Technologies Inc.
Ryan Mueller - Head of Risk
Ryan is a veteran of the payments, fraud prevention, risk management and startup landscape. Holding both Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Cyber Crime Investigator (CCCI) credentials he is a heavyweight risk management professional. As Head of Risk, Ryan brings a wealth of experience and contacts to the team. Formerly with Neteller/Optimal Payments, Intabill, BillPro, Vogogo and other payments/risk management companies Ryan leverages his experience to identify quickly and implement solutions to problems in any business.
